Completion Date: 1989

This project involved construction of a new four-span, 630-lf composite girder bridge over the Oswego River, a new single leaf bascule bridge over the New York State Barge Canal and four tainter gate water control structures. Associated street and road construction at the approaches were also included. Winter construction of the bascule bridge over the lock was required to allow for uninterrupted seasonal barge canal use.
